Today we looked at the history of games, including some of the oldest ones, such as Senet, Bocce, and Dice (Yahtzee). We also analyzed these games, and discussed the elements of each. Here is the class info we covered:

We also need you guys to sign up for our fieldtrip next week! We will be visiting a local disc golf course, and if you have any such discs, bring them, but I'll have some as well.
Today we began to explore the fun and exciting world of game design! So we started with a simple game, called The Human Knot. It was NOT easy, but we figured it out! Don't forget to read and get your disclosure doc signed for next time!
P.S. We will be having a field trip soon, so get your parents to fill out the permission form (handed out in class, or below) ASAP! We need this filled out before next week!
