(D1) Today we worked on finishing our final Persuasive Essays (they are due today!!!). You submitted these online before you went to bed (Tuesday, March 19th). (D2) Next we presented orally our persuasive essays, to each other and to an audience in class. (D3) Finally, we moved on, talking about the recent College Admissions Scandal and practiced another short debate:
Today we continued working on our Persuasive Essays! I think that you guys are going to knock this one out of the park! Here's where you submit it! (make sure you do it before March 19th at 11 pm!) We also discussed two ridiculous fallacies: Argument by Fast Talking and Gibberish
