We introduced Part IIIA / B to you guys last time..see the side for more info! You'll either be creating a tangible to help represent your tour, or interview someone related to one of your sites, and then write up a reflection.
Also, today we began making plans for what sites you were going to highlight in your town tours! Some sites that I recommend checking out to get some ideas: www.tripadvisor.com - a good site to get some ideas of things people think are worth visiting in the area! (I've included Payson, UT as an example in the link...) www.tripbuzz.com - has some interesting suggestions / ideas. For more ideas, www.UtahValley360.com has some good info! www.yelp.com - good site for cuisine / food options The National Registry of Historic Places has a lot of good ideas for things you might point out. Note that many of these sites are private, and the people who own them may not want people poking around. Best to visit the site, talk to the owners, and ask if they would mind you pointing out their site! Also, a Google Map Tour can be a really cool way to explore a place. Here are a few examples: New York; New Orleans, etc. Below is an example that I made to show you what you might do!
