Today we began learning more specifically about the English Colonization of the New World. We learned about the first several colonies in Virginia (Roanoke, Jamestown), and then the students began prepping a propaganda poster to get people to come settle in the New World! Huzzah! About the Class:Welcome to our U.S. History I class! During the course of this year, we’ll be studying the first major half of American history. From the Native Americans, all the way to the Civil War, we’ll be looking at how our country was founded, and how that history has affected us today.
